The Cult PR has been appointed to handle PR for Britpop act Republica - making a comeback this year after chart success in the 1990s.

The agency is to promote the release of a single and EP in March, and a UK tour followed by slots at festivals including The Isle of Wight. Between 1996 and 1999, Republica sold three million albums and hit single, Ready to Go, was Number One in 18 countries. The Cult partner Charli Morgan said 'Words haven't been invented to describe how excited we are by this win. We are huge Republica fans and can't wait to get stuck into this campaign'.
